Kartuşlar yazıcıdan çıkartılır ve bakım setindeki basınç aparatı ile üst deliklerden basınçlı hava vererek mürekkep akışı sağlanır ve tıkanıklık giderilir.
Siyah kartuşlarda tek renk girişinden, renkli kartuşlarda üç renk için her delikten uygulama yapılabilir.
Kartuş temizleme solusyonu ile kartuşun alt kısmında bulunan mürekkep çıkış kanallarına sprey uygulayarak kurumalar ve kirler giderilir.
